My mum crashed the car, by going through a red light.

Who

Brian was walking down the street, when a bank robbery occurred.

When

Last Friday, the 13 of March someone broke into the tower of London and tried to steal the crown jewels.

Where

My mum went to the supermarket in Mt Wellington to buy groceries. 

Why 

My dad had to make a last minute stop to buy some donuts for the party.

I feel that this activity was hard because it was hard to find the ideas to answer the 5 W's.

My next step is to write more ideas.

Newspaper Scavenger hunt

My Reflection

WALT scan a text for information. 

I found this hard because I had to scan the newspaper for information because the paper ended up all crinkled and the words were really small.

I feel good that I found 3 of the items.  It was easy to find the story on the animals because I looked at the picture.

My next step is to find more information in the text.

IALT draw shapes that involve lines of symmetry.

I found this easy because I like drawing symmetrical.
I feel good that we did symmetry and made it look good.
My net step is to add more detail.
