I chose to draw Ruamoko.
I used some adjectives to describe Ruamoko.
I found this really fun because we got to do adjectives with cool text.

My Fractured Fairy Tale

We were learning to write an interesting narrative story for an audience.We decided to write a fractured fairy tale.First we learnt about the structure of a narrative, then we compered fairy tales. After that we chose a fairy tale to change and make our own version of. I think I did a good job of writing a fractured fairy tale. One thing I need to work on is to make it more interesting. My next step is to make it more interesting.

My Dairy post week 5 term 2

Dear Diary,

This week our class the learning lightsabers ( the best class ever) are doing bike skills and I got to  ride a  black rocket bike as for my friend Anthony he is a little smaller then me so he rode a Green rocket. So we got started by doing our helmet cheek so on my helmet everything was fine so our teacher said we could get a bike. As I said I got a black Rocket and my friend got a green rocket then we got on our bikes and got sarted by doing our standing up on the bike , but the porpper way to do it.  As a lot think you stand up by just standing but No you need to get your peddles horizontal not diagonal so then you stand up. Now we can do some more stuff like tacking your hand off to indelicate you don´t expect you to add a incarcerater to a bike do you? well I don´t. 
so I was easy and hard then we stopped it was so fun I want do do it again.

Matariki Poems

My Refection 

We have been learning to write a haiku and an acrostic poem.
My favourite poem to write was the haiku poem because it was short.
These poems are different because the haiku is only 3 lines and the acrostic has 8 lines (depending on what word you want to write about).  
The hardest poem to write was the haiku poem because you can only have 17 syllables and 3 lines but it was fun.
My next step is to have more ideas because I didn't have much ideas.

term 2 week 2 Diary post

Dear diary 

You would not believe what I did last week. Ok here I go. We did inquiry launch day ca boom ! No no not that type of launch. It is a different type of launch. So we went to the auditorium and we got split into groups. We were the particles.

Our first activity was the egg experiment so we had to get an egg in a  small jar and then get it out. It was tricky to get it in but e got it in the end.

When we got to our next experiment  it was the lava lamp. It was soooo cool.  In fact we have two in our class in room 12 

we did three more activities. The glop experiment, the video, and the feeley bag along with a  game. 

 when it ended I felt like a scientist. I want to do it again.

   A pepeha is something that relates to you it is something that can tell people about you. So you need to put                      your awa (river), your maunga (mountain), your marae, your mama your papa and ingoa (name).

We have been learning to identify odd numbers less than 20. We  did a activity on Nrich using a venn diagramme . I found this easy because all I had to is drag odd numbers and less then 20 into there right boxes. My next step is to do it with bigger numbers.
